Uniform and Equipment Exchange

At 6th Bury St Edmunds we aim to make scouting as inclusive and accessible as possible, and also reduce our impact on the environment.

Upcycling and reusing unform and equipment is a great way to help achieve these aims.

To Donate Clothing and Equipment

We currently accept the following uniform items:

  • Beaver or cub jumpers
  • Scout or explorer scout shirts and blouses
  • Uniform activity trousers
  • Neckers and woggles

We also accept some activity clothing and equipment:

  • Rucksacks and day bags
  • Walking boots
  • Waterproof coats and trousers

Any items that you wish to donate should be passed via a section leader to Ian Pettitt who will check and refresh them ready for a new owner.

To view an item or arrange collection

  1. Choose an item from the lists on this page.
  2. Contact Ian Pettitt (ian.pettitt@6thbsescouts.org.uk) who will arrange to get the item to your scout's section meeting.
